You know, the legal system in America is a thing of wonder. You can have two different people who are found guilty for the same crime but the sentencing can be completely different. According to The Sun, the lawyers of Conrad Murray are looking to get him freed from jail by Christmas. That’s just barely a year of time served for Conrad Murray.
The lawyers are saying that Conrad, who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, should be released because the jails of Los Angeles are clogged. They got him moved to a bigger cell because of health reasons, but are now trying to file papers to serve out the remaining time on his four year sentence with community service work. So what do you think? Do Murray’s lawyers have a point and he’s just taking up space that can be best used for more dangerous criminals or should he just serve out his sentence (that’s what I’m feeling)?Similar Posts:
